INGREDIENTS:
1 lb beef tips
2 broccoli heads
1 bell pepper
3/4 cup coconut aminos + 2 tbsp
2 tbsp cold pressed sesame oil
1/2 tsp fish sauce
1 1/2 lime juice
1 inch ginger nub, grated
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
Pink himalayan sea salt
Ground pepper
Sesame seeds and green onion for garnish
MAKE:
1. Make sauce. In a small mixing bowl add coconut aminos, sesame oil, fish sauce, lime juice, ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well combined.
2. Drizzle 2 tbsp of sauce over the beef and then season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
3. Cut broccoli in florets. Cut bell pepper into bite size pieces.
4. Bring a large sauce pan to medium heat. Once hot, add 1/2 the beef to pan and brown on all sides. Do not over crowd the pan. This will take less than a minute. Then brown the rest of the beef. Set the browned beef aside.
5. In the same pan, add the veggies and 2 tbsp of the sauce. Put a lid on the pan and let cook for 3-4 minutes. With tongs remove the veggies and set aside.
6. Pour all the remaining sauce into the pan and allow if to cook for approx 4 minutes. This will allow the sauce to thicken.
7. Once the sauce is thick add the beef and veggies back to the pan. Toss together until meat and veggies are coated with sauce. Allow to cook for two more minutes, then remove from heat.
8. Serve immediately over jasmine rice or cauliflower rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion.
